Raffle for Peyton
Below is information for a good cause raffle running on Facebook for the next few days. Peyton Barron is a sweet little girl who has been fighting against brain cancer for the last two years. She is now starting a clinical trial in hopes of eradicating the disease that threatens her body. All proceeds will be going toward the medical expenses and associated costs. If not on FB, entries can be sent straight to PayPal at: adam.r.romero@gmail.com Cross posted from the Paying Forward To Peyton page for exposure. Our next Good Cause Raffle will be for the ultimate Rogers Fan Boy Starter Pack. It will include the following. • Arizona Custom Knives Swag Pack (Shirt, Patch, Stickers) • Richard Rogers Knives Sticker Pack • Richard Rogers Patch x 2 (Both Designs) • Richard Rogers Hank • Richard Rogers Zirconium Bead • Richard Rogers PDQ A little about the knife, Richard debuted this knife at Blade 2016 as an unnamed prototype. Two were made. After Blade a contest was held on the Rogers page to pick a name, but Sally called an audible and decided to name the model “PDQ” in honor of Peyton and her courageous resolve in the face of a fight that would the rest of us exhausted and unable to continue. This is the third of this model made and the first one to be made under its newly chosen name. It consists of a bead blasted CTS-XHP blade with flipper. The handle is comprised of black G10 with blue anodized inlaid titanium lockbar, backspacer/lanyard bail, pocket clip and hardware. The inside of the frame has been milled out with “Peyton” “PDQ” “Rogers” and the Rogers Logo and then filled with glow in the dark epoxy. Entries are $10 per and can be sent to adam.r.romero@gmail.com. You can enter as many times as you would like. Entries can be done in one lump sum or spaced out. I will be using the =RAND() function in excel once I compile the list to break up lump sum entries. Random Number Generator will be used to pick a winner. This will close at 1600 EST on Monday, at which time I will begin processing entries. Once again I would like to thank Richard and Sally for being some of the most thoughtful and caring people in the EDC world and donating this knife and other goodies and Brandon Morton for the bead.
