Beads
[caption id="attachment_547" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Freshly turned beads[/caption] In between bouts with the Minion Richard's been making some beads. The latest are brass and bronze. While I took pictures of the process he was giving me instructions on how to make them. It seems I will be doing these in the not too distant future. I'm beginning to think I should stop going into his shop. [caption id="attachment_548" align="alignleft" width="168"] Step 1: Place bronze into the collet[/caption] [caption id="attachment_549" align="aligncenter" width="168"] Step 2: Start dialing in[/caption] [caption id="attachment_550" align="alignright" width="168"] I really need a step stool[/caption] [caption id="attachment_551" align="alignleft" width="300"] Step 3: Nearly done[/caption] [caption id="attachment_552" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Step 4: Patina[/caption] [caption id="attachment_553" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Step 5: Grind & Buff[/caption] And voila, finished beads.... [caption id="attachment_554" align="alignleft" width="300"] Brass[/caption] [caption id="attachment_555" align="aligncenter" width="168"] Bronze[/caption] The price will be $25 per bead.
Bronze middle left one I would like.
All beads have sold. Thanks for the interest, though.
